KiJuBu stands short for “Kinder- und Jugendbuchfestival” (“childrens’ and teenage books festival”). For their 20th anniversary they commissioned us to illustrate their little mascot. The German equivalent of a book worm is a book rat. His name is Schurli and books are his gateway to endless adventures and fun.
